Whether you love to fish, swim, surf, kayak, kite-board, windsurf, bird watch, or lounge on the beach – FROG HOLLOW lets you do it all! This lovely sound side 1500 sq ft three bedroom, two and a half bath, home is located in the quiet Askin’s Creek subdivision on the South side of Avon. It is just a five-minute walk to the beach or a five-minute drive to the grocery store, restaurants, 4-wheel drive beach access (permit required), or ten minutes to the pool or Canadian Hole. Bring bikes and running shoes because Avon has been blessed with a village long bike path.

 

FROG HOLLOW has cornered the market on cool, comfort, and views. The house boasts five deck areas – two lovely deck areas off the front of the house and three deck areas off the back of the house. The front decks afford views of Askin’s Creek and Pamlico Sound sunsets. The three-tiered back deck allows you to climb three stories through junipers emerging to ocean, sound, and National Park views. We might be a little biased, but we think FROG HOLLOW has some of the best views in the area.

 

Inside you will find three bedrooms and two full bathrooms on the first floor. FROG HOLLOW can comfortably sleep eight. Each bedroom includes a 40-inch 4K TV, recharging station for your electronics, and queen size bed. Bedroom two (Crew's Quarters) includes twin bunks in addition to the queen bed. Bedroom two (1st Mate's Quarters) and three share the hall bath, while Bedroom one (Captain's Quarters) has an en-suite bath. The Captain's and Crew's quarters each have sliders that access the back deck. The first floor also has laundry facilities.

 

Upstairs you will find a large open living space featuring dining, newly furnished living, and a well-appointed kitchen, as well as a half bath. The area has a large 12-foot slider to access the back deck and another slider opposite to access the upper front deck. Just grab a drink of choice from the bar area and choose your deck to watch a fantastic sunrise over the Atlantic or a delightful sunset over Pamlico Sound. After the sunset, linger a while on the deck to listen to the frogs chirp, watch the deer feed along the wood line, or enjoy a spectacular view of the Milky Way. If you time it right, you may even see the space station pass overhead.

 

The carport beneath the house contains a fish cleaning table, outdoor shower, storage, and room for two cars with additional parking on the concrete driveway.

2022 - A lot of updates - All new flooring, ship lap ceiling main level, new fans and lights, remodeled bathrooms, painted through out, etc. See photos.** 

2023 - Outdoor round dinner table and chairs.  Also to use: beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach toys, and sand buckets for the kids to enjoy the beach, along with a cart to haul your things over the beach.   New Serta firm mattress were added early in the season, along with Rimensy Twin Mattress, 10 Inch for the bunk beds, and new upstairs air ducting.
